The firm was founded by Frank Colarusso, who brings over 30 years of finance experience to the company. Frank began his career in the international finance department of Texaco Incorporated and went on to hold finance roles at several U.S. corporations.  He spent a significant portion of his career at The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.  Following D&B he joined R.H. Donnelley Corporation, a NYSE company, where he was Vice President, Treasurer and Head of Investor Relations.

After R.H. Donnelley and the corporate world, Frank turned his focus to helping individuals and families navigate their financial futures. He holds an accounting degree from Siena College, a Masters of Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a financial planning certificate from New York University.
